Holiday Cookies

This year I made over 10 boxes of cookies to send out as gifts. They are mostly variety of sugar cookies and butter cookies. So the focus this year was more "decorative" cookies. However, it was still delicious.I got most of my recipes from my favorite cookie book "Christmas Cookies".

Hello Kitty Cake Pops

I thought Hello Kitty cake pops makes great birthday cake for little girls. It was harder to make than I realize because it requires multiple steps. You bake the cake, then mix with cake with frosting and roll it into a ball. Cool it in the freezer. When it's hard take it out. Put the stick in and dip the ball into melted white chocolate cool it in the refrigerator again. Now here's the hard and fun part....making icing to decorate the details of the face.  You would think it's easy to put whiskers on. :p
